In August 2021, Dark Corner Media & Entertainment was born out of a need for local and independent business owners to advertise their products and services – particularly on social media, one of the most powerful tools available for new startups without a massive advertising budget.

Utilizing the skills that were previously developed from booking and promoting concerts, Dark Corner provides independent businesses with both written and visual media – including advertisements & branding, graphic design services, press releases/public relations statements, and social media content – geared at both engaging the existing audience and expanding to new potential customers. Dark Corner works directly with you to understand your individual needs and plans for the future, helping you meet your goals, rather than fitting you into a one-size-fits-all box.

Guttermouth Promotions (2017-2021)

Guttermouth Promotions was founded by Jessie Rodgers in 2017, booking and promoting concerts in the musically and culturally rich region of North and South Carolina. Having produced dozens of events featuring hundreds of talented musicians, while maintaining the values of integrity, professionalism, and community support, Guttermouth Promotions has been truly dedicated to helping underground artists – both local and touring acts – leave a lasting impression upon the the southeast music community. Guttermouth Promotions was most prominently known for working with metal and rock acts, but often books artists of other genres: including hip-hop, folk/indie, punk, and electronic music. The goal has always remained the same, and it always will: to bring the content that needs to be heard to the audience that needs to hear it.

In addition to event booking and promotion, Guttermouth Promotions also offered services in graphic design, public relations, and more for bands and other businesses, at rates that are both affordable and negotiable. For more examples, please click here for Previous Work.
